How do I check available dates?
Please fill out a contact form with your desired dates, and we will respond with availability ASAP.

Can I have exclusive use of The Garden Chateau? Are we restricted to certain areas?
Of course!  We have only one event a day, giving you exclusive access that day.  You are able to use all public indoor and outdoor space at the Garden Chateau.

Do you need to make an appointment to tour the Garden Chateau?
Yes, we offer convenient hours and will work with your schedule. Our tour usually take about 45 minutes and we will take the time to answer all your questions. Fill out the contact form to schedule a tour.

What is included in the base rental?
Rental includes exclusive use of all the public indoor and outdoor space the day of your event, one hour rehearsal, Bride’s room, Groom’s space, use of gazebo and bar outdoors, indoor and garden sound system with iPod /MP3 Bluetooth connection, general direction signs and parking.

Do you have a minimum and maximum number of guests for a wedding?
We do not have a minimum.  We accommodate up to 150 guests.  We would consider a higher guest count if royal restrooms are brought in and a shuttle service is used.

Do you have spaces for indoor and outdoor ceremonies?
Yes! We have many indoor and outdoor venues for wedding ceremonies. Contact us to schedule a tour so we may show you the many options for ceremony locations at The Garden Chateau.

What happens if we plan an outdoor wedding and it rains?
There are a few contingency plans for chance of rain.  Depending on the style of event and guest count, we may be able to bring it indoors.  Tent rentals are a great option.  This would keep your guests dry while maintaining the outdoor style you originally desired.

Are you open all year?
We are closed on Sundays and for major holidays.

Do you offer military discounts?
Yes, we offer a 10% military discount.

Do you have onsite overnight accommodations?
No, but there are several hotels very close by where you can reserve discount room blocks.

How long do we get to use your facilities?
9:00 AM to 12:00 AM or a total of 15 hours! Please note that 12:00 AM is the time that all items should be removed and all guests departed.

Do you have private bride and groom suites?
Yes, there is private space for both the bride and groom and their bridal party to get ready and relax.

Are my rental rates guaranteed?
The Garden Chateau’s rates are always subject to change. However, once a contract is signed, your price is locked in.

Are we required to set up and tear down chairs and tables for our ceremony and reception?

Garden Chateau comes as a blank canvas for you to work with.  This gives you the opportunity to find the rentals that work best for your vision including color, style and price.  There are many vendors we can recommend that will set up and tear down for you.

Who is responsible for clean up?
It is your responsibility to leave the facility as you found it.  Often times your vendors each assist with a different piece of this.  If you rent your tables and chairs through the Garden Chateau, then we will clean up that aspect.  We do have contact information for a cleaning company for you to hire to assist in the cleaning.

Can I have candles?
Yes, however all candles used for table centerpieces and room decorations must be in heat-proof, enclosed containers or holders.

Can we provide our own flowers and decorations?
We understand that each bride has her own taste and style; therefore we allow each to decorate accordingly. The Garden Chateau is a blank canvas for you to work with.  In the pictures you see on the site, lighting, flowers and other decoration were either a DIY project, provided by an outside vendor or an add on provided by the Garden Chateau.  We do ask that nothing is adhered to the walls or ceilings unless you use drafting tape.  We will have a meeting to go over décor plans to guarantee that no property will be damaged.

Can we provide our own alcohol?
Yes, however any and all alcohol that is served must be served by a licensed and insured bartender.  There are several licensed and insured bartenders we can recommend that will let you stock your own bar.  No alcohol is permitted to be self-served.  No cash bars are allowed.  All who consume alcohol must be prepared to show a government issued identification card.

Can we have music and dancing?
Yes, of course!  We have several different locations perfect for dancing.  All music needs to be turned off at 11:00 pm.

Is The Garden Chateau pet friendly?
No pets or animals are allowed at event without prior knowledge and approval. Exceptions include family dogs in the wedding party, and user’s horse for entrance and exit purposes. The animal must stay outdoors on a leash.

Do you provide time for a wedding rehearsal before the wedding?
Yes, you will have one hour the week before your wedding depending on our schedule.

Can I choose my own caterer?
Yes, we have no vendor restrictions so you can have the caterer of your choice.

Can I bring my own cake? Is there a cake-cutting fee?
Please do bring in your own cake.  Please discuss the cake cutting fee with your caterer who should have a serving staff.  We do have plates and utensils for the cake for rent for $50.

Do you have a smoking policy?
There is a designated smoking area specific for each event.

May we take bridal and/or engagement pictures on property?
We would be honored that you would want to take such memorable pictures with us.  Please schedule your shoot on a Monday through Thursday with the Garden Chateau.

What restrictions exist for items to toss upon departure?
Have the grand exit that you desire!  Please just make sure that any debris is cleaned up and safety measures are taken if sparklers are used.

What is the parking situation for the guests?
There is plenty of parking to accommodate guests on our three and half acres.  Depending on which area of our property you event is using, there is a grassy lot available to your guests.  We put out runners for your guests to walk on to and from parking.  On the day of the event, additional signs and attendants will direct guests to the proper parking locations.

Who will be responsible for running the event?
We offer day of director as an add on to your event if you desire.  Otherwise, the Garden Chateau will have an on-site attendant available during the hours of the event. This attendant is responsible for the event site and is not available for serving, decorating or other services needed by the User or User’s guests and vendors.

Is there access for guests with disabilities?
Yes, if you make us aware of the situation, we will do everything we can to accommodate.
